Calculators use only the values visible in their forms. We do not claim that example values are current. ETF pages link to official provider pages where users can verify price, distribution history, objectives, and risks.
Core formulas
Yield = annual distribution per share / share price x 100
Payout ratio = annual dividend per share / diluted earnings per share x 100
Portfolio yield = total annual distribution income / total market value x 100
Future distribution = current distribution x (1 + annual growth rate)^years
Projection timing
- The initial investment buys fractional shares at the starting price.
- Each period adds the equivalent recurring contribution.
- The period distribution is calculated from shares and annual distribution per share.
- The simplified tax assumption is deducted.
- After-tax cash is reinvested or kept as cash.
- Price and distribution assumptions advance independently.
What projections exclude
Models exclude volatility within a period, fees, spreads, currency conversion, inflation, withholding, detailed tax classification, irregular special distributions, trading constraints, and changes in fund structure. Results are nominal estimates.
Quality review
Automated checks test internal links, canonical URLs, metadata, schema syntax, sitemap coverage, redirect rules, input labels, heading structure, and forbidden source artifacts. Formula outputs are checked against known examples.
